- Return/Exchange Window: 15 days from the date you receive your order.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all included parts and documentation.
- Process: Initiate a return/exchange by emailing our support team. See the detailed process below.
- Refunds: Issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
- Shipping Costs: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item).
1. The Return & Exchange Process (Step-by-Step)
We’ve streamlined the process to be as efficient as lubing a set of linear switches.
Step 1: Initiate Your Request (Within 15 Days of Delivery)
Contact our enthusiast-led support team at [email protected] with the subject line “Return/Exchange Request”. Please use the template provided in Section 3 below to ensure we have all necessary information to assist you promptly.
Step 2: Receive Instructions & RMA
Within 2 business days, we will email you:
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- The return shipping address (our workshop in Livermore, CA).
- Any specific instructions for your item.
Note: Do not ship any items back without an RMA number. Returns without an RMA cannot be processed.
Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return
Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase. Include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service (e.g., USPS, FedEx).

Step 4: Inspection & Completion
Once your return is received at our workshop, our team will inspect it within 3-5 business days to verify condition. We will then notify you via email and proceed with your chosen resolution:
- Refund: Processed to your original payment method.
- Exchange: The replacement item will be shipped using your preferred shipping method (standard or free).
- Store Credit: Issued immediately as a digital gift card.
2. Refund Timelines & Methods
We process refunds with the same speed we aim for in our “Fast & Secure Checkout”.
- Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days after inspection. The timing for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank’s policies.
- PayPal: 3-7 business days after inspection, directly back to your PayPal account.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. For exchanges due to our error, we will cover the cost of shipping the replacement to you.

4. Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions
To ensure the safety and integrity of products for all enthusiasts, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, unless they arrive defective or damaged:
- Opened or Used Lubricants (from the “Lubricants” menu): For hygiene and safety reasons, any lubricant container where the seal has been broken is non-returnable.
- Opened Switch Packs (from the “Switches” menu): Individual switches that have been removed from their original packaging or are part of an opened pack cannot be returned due to the inability to verify their condition and count.
- Clearance Items (from the “Clearance” menu): All sales on clearance items are final. These are deeply discounted to make room for new inventory.
- Custom or Built Items: Any product that has been soldered, modified, or assembled beyond initial inspection.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, is defective, or is the incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a prepaid return label (if needed) and expedite a replacement or refund at no cost to you. Photos of the product and packaging are extremely helpful for our quality control process.
